Jim describes the rest of The Comedy Store Players as “nothing more than a bunch of drink ravaged show offs who can't be bothered learning lines so they just turn up and wing it”. He has been a member of the team since 1992 and describes the experience as “I meet my mates, have a laugh and get paid for it. It’s the best job in the world.” Don’t be fooled by his blasé statements, Jim Sweeney is one of the finest improvisers on the planet. He used to regularly lead the team at the Comedy Store but, unfortunately for the rest of the Players and his many fans, bowed out of the Players' shows in 2008. www.jimsweeney.co.uk
